It's possible to play karaoke CDG discs on your pc with the proper hardware and software. The only good reason I can think of for doing this is to verify the results of making a CDG copy. Anyway, there are two items you will need. A CD-ROM or CD Writer that is capable of reading subchannel data. All Plextor and Yamaha drives as well as some HP and Sony drives will do this. Check your drive's documentation. You will also need a software CDG player. The CAVS PlayCDG is a great one. There is a demo version of this program that will play the first 45 seconds of a song. This would be adequate if you are only using the player to verify that a CDG was properly copied.
